Safety/Quality
Monarch Construction prides itself in maintaining the highest quality of workmanship and service to its customers. We treat all projects, no matter what the size, with the same quality that we would expect in our own homes. We believe that with adherence to high standards in quality, jobsites are better organized. Organized jobsites foster fewer accidents thus creating a more productive job to meet or exceed the builders' schedule.
Monarch Construction is a company attentive to the importance of jobsite safety. In addition to our insurance company's safety inspector, Monarch Construction has engaged the services of an independent, unbiased safety director who visits each job regularly and reviews job site safety with each foremen. Our safety directors evaluate each jobsite and grade the job accordingly, noting any safety violations, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions that could potentially affect the health and welfare of our carpenters and/or any other onsite trades. Our safety directors also ensure that all our carpenters utilize in place safety programs such as CAZ signs (controlled access zones) and HAZCOM (hazard communication).
All of our foremen are required to complete a 10-hour O.S.H.A. class. Our lead men and foremen are trained as a competent person in fall protection, ladder and scaffold safety and assured grounding program. Foremen are required to provide weekly safety toolbox talks, which cover a wide variety of construction do's and don'ts. Each foreman is outfitted with a binder including our HAZCOM program, O.S.H.A. reviews and compliance reports, current MSDS (material safety data sheets) sheets, weekly tool box talks, CAZ signs and if needed accident reports.
